CoLIS 5 is the fifth international conference devoted to exploring and understanding information-centred disciplines. It will examine how the issue of context influences the design and use of inform-
ation access technologies.

The conference is chaired by Fabio Crestani and Ian Ruthven. Jonathan Furner is workshop chair, Monica Landoni is Tutorial Chair and Pia Borlund is chairing the Doctoral Forum.

Registration for the 5th Conference on Conceptions of Library and Information Science (CoLIS5) will open March 9th.

Accommodation

Glasgow has a very wide range of hotels, a youth hostel and University accomodation. The conference is located in the heart of the city maximising accommodation available.

Travel

Glasgow has two international airports with many traditional and low-cost flights. The city is well connected by road and rail and is on the national cycle route network.
